The blood spatter on the screen gives the audience pointers about the movie and the task of the “Bastards”.
To me the sound effect used with each new splatter sound like a different weapon. You have a gun shot and then by the end you have a sort of slashing noise which could be from a knife.

In February a few weeks after the teaser trailer was released, these three posters were made public. The posters all show blooded weapon which leave a lot to the imagination as to what happened. These posters add to peoples curiosity about the film.



Individual poster was released to introduce the characters to the audience.
